About the Role
You will own end-to-end placement of IT professionals into C2C and W2 contract roles nationwide. This means everything: sourcing the right people, conducting genuine technical pre-screening, managing submission processes, coordinating with prime vendor partners, and staying with placed consultants through the first 60 days. The role is fully remote and performance is measured by placement quality, not submission volume.
What You'll Do
- Source IT professionals through Dice, LinkedIn Recruiter, and direct outreach, with a genuine understanding of what each tech stack actually requires
- Conduct pre-screening conversations that go beyond resume review: understanding each consultant's goals, constraints, and what they need from a placement
- Manage submission processes with prime vendor partners, ensuring RTR confirmation and accurate documentation on every submittal
- Coordinate interview scheduling, technical prep, and offer negotiation for placed consultants
- Conduct post-placement check-ins at day 1, week 1, week 4, and month 2, and escalate issues proactively
- Maintain accurate records in our ATS and provide weekly status updates per The Acumers Standard
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of IT recruiting experience, specifically in contract placements (C2C and W2)
- Genuine understanding of Corp to Corp vs W2 models, able to explain the math to a consultant without a cheat sheet
- Familiarity with VMS platforms (Fieldglass, Beeline, IQNavigator, or Coupa)
- Experience recruiting across at least 2 of our core tech areas: AI/ML, cybersecurity, data engineering, cloud/DevOps, analytics, mobile
- Someone who finds genuine satisfaction in staying with a placement after the offer is signed, not someone who considers that part done
How We Measure Success
- Placement quality, not volume: submission-to-interview ratio matters more than submission count, we'd rather you submit 3 strong candidates than 15 mediocre ones
- RTR accuracy: 100% of submittals have confirmed, documented Right to Represent before going out, zero exceptions
- 60-day retention: percentage of your placements still active and satisfied at the 60-day mark
- Response time to your own consultants: under 24 hours for any consultant question or concern, mirroring the Acumers Standard we hold externally
- Check-in completion: 100% of placed consultants receive their day-1, week-1, week-4, and month-2 check-ins on schedule
We deliberately do not measure raw submission count or time-to-fill as standalone metrics. Those incentivize volume over judgment, which is the opposite of what Acumers stands for.
